I get "Black Toner not installed" and "can not rotate the cartridges". Advanced Toner Science Lexmark Corporate Cartridges combine the quality innovation of Unison toner with robust and durable design to deliver long-term reliability. I'm having the same problem - could you plese send me the same instructions? There seems to vksta a little too much fine "grey dust" in my printer and it's been causing the odd intermittent problem over time. When I go to start, the cartridges rotate and it begins to sound like it is going to feed paper and then stops with an error code 12H.
The chip counts the number of pages and stops working when or pages have been through the machine. I now think that pressing some aluminium foil in the gap between the metal plates would have also done the vlsta.
Get rid of your "refill". Raise the printer cover locate the green levers on the left and right side of the top of the printer that have an envelope logo on them and make certain they are in the down position.
I agree, they should woork in either, it is very weird. My assumption is that there is dirt on the sensor, but I don't know where it is.

We print thousands of colorful stock charts and word processing documents. How do I change the drum on my Konica Minolta I need to free the jam so can rotate and change toner cartridges.
The drum fista to be replaced doesnt mean you need cartridges as they have different lives.
After refilling the toner and replacing the chips the printer still shows "empty toner". I have replaced my drum several times with no evedence that the drum itself was damaged - but the printer will not allow printing. It's in a school system and 24 computers going to that printer via the network.

Any help, suggestions or direction would be appreciated! I have a Magicolor DL that has been standing unused for some time and it won't print correctly. I have a huge print job this weekend and I started getting the "replace the drum" message. It then reflects off and strikes a photo diode on a small circuit board mounted on the right side of the laser scanner.
Obviously, the latch is actuated when the door is closed, to allow the carousel to rotate. A better way is to weigh the cartridges vistw electronic scales - full are around grammes empty at grammes.
My magicolor doesn't seem to pick up the paper. We have seen this seemingly "fake" media jam issue in the DL for a year now "fake" because the paper never gets picked up and so never actually "jams", but whatever. The consumables are all original. In color modes not monochrome, that seems to work somewhat gista some faint shades of cyan appear, a hint of magenta and no yellow.
Could this be a fuser problem? It is most likey the drum in the machine that has become damaged over time with use. It's about 2 years old and while printing, it developed these bumps on the transfer belt.
The one trick which worked for me a couple of times is to apply a lot of pressue to the center of the pickup opening without any paper in the tray. It's only mentioned right above your post. I just replaced my Cyan Toner, and now I am receiving a blank line in the middle of the page.
We have printed primarily from Creative Suite 3 about 25 pages. If not, then perhaps your really DID have an actual hardware fault.
